 
 
Gentle Yoga & Cuppa
This class is for anyone who wants to take their yoga practice that little bit
slower and who wants to get out and socialise. Perfect for anyone with chronic
pain conditions, illnesses or injuries. We start this class with some relaxing
breathing techniques, followed by gentle stretching and strengthening of key
muscle groups, synchronising our movement to breath to help calm the nervous
system, before bringing it back down into a relaxation meditation to finish.
We end the class with a little cup of herbal tea so you can get to know your
fellow yogis. This class is suitable for everyone and is very gentle, Freya
has a lot of experience in teaching gentle yoga to people living with cancer
and encourages you to take it slowly and work with your body. All we aim for
is that you leave feeling better than when you came into the studio.
 
5 Week Beginners Yoga Course
No previous yoga experience is required for this course. You do not need to be
'flexible' or 'strong’. We will teach you ways to become more flexible and
strong on the course, as well as all the other amazing spiritual, mental &
philosophical benefits yoga has to offer, besides the physical practice! This
course is designed to help you progress week on week to enable you to try
other classes on our timetable after the course. You will learn the
foundations of yoga in a supportive, non-competitive environment, focusing on
meditation, breathing techniques, sun salutations, poses and alignment. Our
courses run consecutively throughout the year, so if you have missed out on

5 Week Yoga Improvers Course
This 5 week course is designed to take anyone who knows the basics of yoga or
has previously attended beginners classes or completed our 5 week beginners
course to the next level, this is a structured method to improve your practice
and after this course you will feel confident to try other classes on our
timetable. Our courses run consecutively throughout the year, so if you have

Pilates Sculpt
This class is suitable for most levels and is aimed at anybody wanting to get
fit and toned! A series of mat-based workouts and barre exercises consisting
of controlled movements, designed to stretch and strengthen muscles, with
emphasis on challenging the core and correcting posture and imbalances which
lead to pain and tension. Whether you want to learn more about the Pilates
method, get fit & tone up, have back pain, or just want to improve the quality
of your everyday movements, this class is perfect for you. You will leave this
class feeling like you have had a fab workout, and have stretched &
strengthened your body!
 
5 Week Pregnancy Yoga Course
This 5 week pregnancy yoga course is suitable for women over 13 weeks
pregnant. You will learn gentle yoga poses, meditation, breathing techniques
and much more. Our pregnancy yoga course is a nurturing, safe space where
women can meet other new mums and share this exciting journey with each other.

>Baby & Me Yoga & Cuppa 4 Week Course
For babies over 6 weeks up to pre crawling. The perfect way to come to yoga,
take some much needed time to look after yourself, whilst bonding with your
baby and meeting other new mums. This class is a 45 minute postnatal class
aimed at gently building strength back in the body after birth, followed by 15
minutes to have a little cup of herbal tea so you can socialise with the other
mums.
 
Candlelit Restorative & Nidra
This is a super relaxing class & is suitable for all levels - including
complete beginners. Step out of the demands of modern-day stressful living &
enjoy a beautiful sense of calm in our cosy candlelit studio. The restorative
part of this session will involve holding supine (lying down) poses, fully
supported by props, for between 5-10 minutes. The second half of the session
is Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation which takes us effortlessly
into a state of deep relaxation between sleep & wakefulness. From here, we can
be healed, restored and awakened to our deepest, all-knowing, all-welcoming
self. You will leave this class feeling nourished, rested and recharged. This
class is perfect for anyone who needs to de-stress & take some "me time".
 
Hatha Yoga
This class is suitable for all levels. Hatha translates as Ha (sun) tha
(moon). The aim of this practice is to balance the two solar and lunar
energies, aligning & calming mind, body & spirit. A slow, meditative practice
with both a standing and seated sequence of postures (asanas) designed to
develop strength and flexibility in the physical body, moving the body with
awareness of breath and using deep breathwork techniques (pranayama). This
class is great for beginners and those who prefer a more relaxed style,
focusing on alignment and holding poses for longer.
 
Pilates – All Levels
This class is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners, to those who
regularly attend Pilates or Yoga classes; options & modifications will be
provided so you can always listen to your body and take it at your own pace.
This class will teach you the Pilates technique in a supportive, friendly
environment. You will learn a series of mat-based workouts consisting of
controlled exercises, designed to stretch & strengthen muscles, with emphasis
on challenging the core & correcting posture & imbalances which lead to pain &
tension. Whether you want to learn more about the Pilates method, have back
pain, joint pain or want to improve the quality of your everyday movements,
this class is perfect for you.
 
Vinyasa Flow
This class will gradually build up to warm the body, by flowing through
postures to reach the peak of the class, before gently bringing you back down
into Savasana (relaxation), you will leave this class feeling glowing,
energised and ready for the rest of your day! Options and modifications will
be provided so you can take this class at your own pace. Some basic previous
yoga experience is beneficial for this class.
 
Pilates & Barre
The perfect blend of pilates & barre; this class is focused on strengthening
and toning the whole body, especially legs bums & tums, using ballet inspired
movements to strengthen, sculpt and improve mobility and flexibility. Barre
engages muscles you wouldn’t normally reach in other forms of exercise with
its high reps, low impact movement - expect to feel the burn! Pilates consists
of controlled exercises, designed to stretch & strengthen muscles, with
emphasis on challenging the core & correcting posture & imbalances which lead
to pain & tension. You will leave this class feeling strong & ready for your
weekend, & like you’ve worked areas of your body you never knew existed!
 
Yin & Yang
Yin & Yang is the combination of cool, passive stretching with a firey,
dynamic flow. We will start with calming Yin postures and breath work, before
moving onto a warming flow, and then settling down into rest and meditation.
This Sunday class is perfect for anyone who needs a bit of grounding at the
end of the week!
 
Children’s Yoga After School Club
Suitable for children aged 5-11. This course is designed to teach children
yoga in a fun, engaging & non-competitive environment. They will learn sun
salutations, animal yoga poses, relaxing breathing techniques, yoga games,
partner yoga and the importance of being kind to themselves and others. We
will finish each class with meditation and mindfulness techniques to help them
to feel calm at the end of the day.
 
Face Yoga Workshops
Our Face Yoga workshops consist of specific self-facial massages and facial
exercises that invigorate the facial muscles, lymphatic system and skin, we
teach a range of exercises that you can do yourself at home. Face Yoga can
help to release tension, tightness and pain in the face and jaw, reduce dark
circles and puffiness, relieve tension headaches, increase blood flow to the
face to give the appearance of firmer more radiant skin, define the jaw, and
tone the face & neck. Face Yoga is the new craze and is the perfect way to
exercise the forgotten facial muscles, just like we do our bodies!
 
Monthly Gong Sound Bath Workshops
Step out of the demands of stressful living and enjoy a beautiful sense of
calm in our cosy studio with our monthly gong sound baths! Gong meditation is
a unique sound practice where the practitioner uses gongs & mallets to create
sounds & vibrations to bring about deep relaxation & healing. Gongs are a
sacred & powerful instrument that have been used for thousands of years with
the power to provide a deep sense of relaxation and a sense of peace &
tranquillity in the mind & body. We finish this workshop with a little cup of
tea and some homemade cake! Our gong sound baths are a monthly event, so if
